Star Trek Jihad

by: Ross

So I am back on my (culturally insensitive) Star Trek Jihad. As netflixing all seven seasons of Star Trek: Voyager will take literally* six years, I’m asking for your help.

Does anyone have all seasons of ST:VOY for me to borrow? Thx.

*My new pastime is using “literally” when I mean “figuratively.” I love love love when people do this. And by love I mean hate.

  2. Haha I’m already done with all of the movies and all of TNG and DS9. It only makes sense to continue.

  3. But how can you turn your back on Jean Luc? Plus that much 7of9 will put bad juju hypnotism on you.

  4. Have you seen the new Battlestar Galactica? Lost three weeks of my life….

  5. Same thing happened to me Claybee (it was worth it though). Say, isn’t Voyager being rerun on Spike or FX now?

  7. you’re such a dork… I love it.

  8. i can appreciate most dorkforms, but i just don’t understand trekkies. i feel like it must work on the principle of ‘it’s so crappy that it’s good.’

  9. The Original Series is “so crappy it is crappy.” Like it is almost unwatchable. What makes it worse is they had less commercials back in the day so the episodes are REALLLLLLY LONG.

But I am telling you people DS9 kicks some serious ass and is (thus far) my favorite Star Trek. THAT’S RIGHT. I SAID IT.

  10. DS9 is definitely the best of the various shows. Just goes to show what good writing does (Ron Moore and Ira Steven Behr). Ron Moore does the Battlestar Galactica now, which is by far one of the best shows on tv.

  11. dude check out your local library. spotsylvania has all of the ds9 dvds and i think one of the branches has vger. you get like 2-3 discs at a time and it’s FREE and doesn’t clog up your queue.

other than that, i know there’s a dude here at my office that has all the vger dvds but i dont think he’s willing to part with them.

    GOOD LUCK.

  13. How is it possible that the Richmond Public Library doesn’t provide a search of their inventory?

    MaxPower
