Die Hard 4: Die Hardest

He may be a little older, but John McClane is definitely back in action, as Bruce Willis announced today that he will star in a fourth Die Hard movie next year with the subtle title of Live Free or Die Hard. And the next Die Hard in the Bruce Willis franchise is coming quick, supposedly set for release on June 29th. 2007, according to Variety, with production starting as early as next month. Die Hard 4 tosses its hat into what’s already been called “sequel summer” with Shrek the Third, Harry Potter 4, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Ocean’s Thirteen, Spider-Man 3, Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer, Evan Almighty, The Bourne Ultimatum, and Alien vs. Predator 2 ALL scheduled to open during the summer months of 2007.
Seriously. Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer. For all of you keeping score at home, Rocky 6 is due out this year (yeah right – I predict they bury that thing in February 2007) and Indiana Jones 4, Bathman: The Dark Knight, and Star Trek XI: Actually The Sequel To Good Will Hunting are due out in 2008. Awesome.
I think they mean Harry Potter 5.
Is Evan Almight a sequel to Bruce Almighty? That movie did not need a sequel.
I was not aware that The Bourne Ultimatum was to be released next year, I’m excited about that.

i’d like to see hollywood get back to being original/creative. it seems like every movie is either a sequel, prequel, or based on a tv show.
looking at the list of this summers top 10 movies (below), 6/10 fall into this, then you’ve got da vinci code (book, which is fine), 2 animated movies, and an adam sandler comedy (never seen that before!?).

haha what is with ben affleck rumours lately? first he is running for senate in va, now he is playing spock? next he’s gonna be seen working as the captain of a pirate ship off of somalia, his harsh disciplice and dearth of mercy being the scourge of the indian ocean and the nightmares of honest sailors everywhere.
