On Friday we got a new puppy, which brings us up to two humans, two dogs, and a gerbil in our house. The gerbil is a “class pet” — so don’t worry about us getting to be crazy pet people. Two more pics inside.

So it is “Zap” and not “Zapp?”
General Zapp Brannigan, also referred to (mainly by himself) as “The Zapper” or “Big Z”, is a 25 star General and spaceship captain in the Democratic Order of Planets (the DOOP) in the television series Futurama. His flagship is the Nimbus. Kif Kroker is his beleaguered lieutenant and personal assistant, whose many duties include keeping Zapp’s schedule stored on an Etch-a-sketch.
I think val already put the zap vs. zapp controversy to bed by spelling it “zap” on her nametag.

so, what kind of dog is zap?? the top picture looks like a stuffed animal. but in a good way.?. i guess i will see her @ potluck.
our dogs need to play. although 4 dogs all together would be INSANE.
If by insane you mean totally awesome! But not in my house, it is already too small for two dogs. If only there were a big fenced in area that wasn’t barker field. That place is dirty.
Also, she supposedly is golden retriever / sheppard. She is very golden in colour, and her face — to me — looks like a retriever. Her back is kind of blackish like a german sheppard though. Probably some lab in there, because seriously, who doesn’t have lab in them these days?
